You can access anonymous CVS using the following commands:

$ export CVSROOT
$ CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@cvs.xmlrpc-c.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/xmlrpc-c
$ cvs login
$ cvs -z3 co xmlrpc-c
